Chair - Dr Paul Livingstone
Paul has been involved with researching, managing and controlling
bovine tuberculosis (Tb) in New Zealand for over 30 years. As the
Technical Manager for the Animal Health Board, Paul is responsible
for the technical decisions on the tuberculosis control programme
for cattle and farmed deer as well as the wild animal control programme.
He is also a member of the National Science Strategy Committee that
makes recommendations on the research strategy for the control of
possums and bovine tuberculosis.
Melissa Holm
Melissa is the Communications Advisor at the Animal Health Board and
works closely with teams at a national and regional level to ensure
consistency of communication and to spread the ‘Tb free’ message.
Penny Fairbrother
As the Research Coordinator for the Animal Health Board, Penny is
responsible for overseeing the AHB’s research programme. To assist
in the achievement of its goals, the AHB contracts nearly $3 million
per annum in applied research.
